We gathered to express our EXTREME displeasure with Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) meddling in US government affairs. The MUSK RAT and crew improperly accessed the Treasury Department and our /your classified information; Illegally shut down the USAID and attempted to retire hundreds of Government employees without Congressional authorization.

“The richest man in the world is firing or suspending government workers, destroying US soft global power, and accessing data and private information about potentially millions of Americans — all with zero accountability.” According to CNN

The Caledonian Record covered the story on February 13th. We gathered at the Tesla charging station at the Green Mountain Mall 11am – noon on Wednesday, February 12 in a non-partisan protest. We collected two pages of contacts that were interested in joining the Indivisible movement. We encouraged folks to connect with their legislatures and handed out talking points regarding this issues.

The comments on the Caledonian records Facebook page were often offensive and discouraging. I encourage you all to not let the bombardment silence you. If our friends and neighbors bombard the resistance with laughing faces and quips that don’t make sense or rude accusations and name calling stand up, choose your battles, be polite and steer them to the facts. They will either get tired and shut down or they might land on something inspiring.

The worst thing is to stay silent or to banter. Rather than argue share facts politely. Don’t harass or embarrass, respectfully share the facts especially the intimate stories. If you have intimate stories that needs to be shared.

There are two 505001 protests planned in Vermont for President’s Day, this coming Monday, February 17th. One in Burlington at the City Hall and one in Montpelier at the Vermont State Capitol.
