Women’s Embroidered Jacket
One of a Kind – Art to Wear
This hooded embroidered jacket is dedicated to endangered pollinators. Embroidered honey bees fly to and from their bee boxes under Vermont fall foliage. Did you know that honey bees are not endangered nor are they native to America? However, many native species are endangered like the rusty patch bumble bee and more recently we scientists have noticed a decline in the American bumble bee.
Made of: 55% hemp and 45% cotton, 100% organic cotton hood hand dyed in house, vintage geometric print lining. The vintage lining was used to make the bee boxes and line the pockets.
Made in Vermont
Hand wash cold hang to dry.
Who we support: We like to support the Xerces Society for their invertebrate conservation efforts. You can read more about wild bee conservation on their site.
